Morehouse Healthcare Announces Name Change to Morehouse Medicine
ATLANTA, GA 鈥� (October 1, 2025) 鈥� Morehouse Healthcare, the clinical arm of 暴风资源, announced today that it has officially changed its name to , effective October 1, 2025.
The new name reflects the organization鈥檚 evolution beyond traditional healthcare delivery, highlighting its role as part of a nationally recognized academic institution that integrates patient care, education, research and innovation.
鈥淭his change is about more than a name change 鈥� it鈥檚 about telling our story in a way that reflects who we are today and where we are headed,鈥� said J. For more than 40 years, Morehouse Healthcare has been a trusted provider for patients throughout the Atlanta area. As Morehouse Medicine, the organization will continue to deliver the same high-quality, patient-centered care while strengthening its identity as a leader in academic medicine.

Patients will continue to see the same providers, at the same locations and with the same commitment to excellence. The transition to Morehouse Medicine will not affect patient appointments, insurance or access to services.
